Say no more. We'll work with you to find the perfect yarn in your dream colour. Be aware that our standard yarns are acrylic, however if you'd like to upgrade to merino etc, we'll discuss the cost increase when we chat!

Keeping It Clean (Because Life With Littles Is Messy)

• Handwash if you're feeling fancy (or if you've somehow got time for that!)
• Pop it in a pillowcase and use a gentle cycle for those days when you're just trying to survive
• Lay flat to dry - I use my dining table for Ernie's and it works a treat!

This blanket brings together three generations of knitting expertise - from Great Nana Carol's special stitch pattern, to Nana Rachel's expert knitting, to my hand-embroidery. Each one is created with so much love and care, you can practically feel the cosy goodness radiating from every stitch!

I started Stitches Aint Knit on maternity leave when Ernie was just 6 weeks old (he's nearly 4 now - where did the time go?!) and these custom blankets represent everything I love about what we do - creating something completely unique and personal that becomes part of your family's story.
